Mazda CX-90 PHEV
The 2025 Mazda CX-90 PHEV comes in three trims: Preferred, Premium Sport and Premium Plus. The CX-90 boasts three rows of seating with room for seven or 8 passengers and it comes with standard all-wheel drive. This mid-size SUV is powered by a 2.5L 4-cylinder that produces 185 horsepower while the electric motor increases that number to 323 horsepower. The CX-90 PHEV has an all-electric range of 26.1 miles and when combined with the gas engine creates a total range of 490 miles. The CX-90 PHEV has a charging time of 1.5 hours using a 240-volt level 2 charger.
Even the base model is nicely equipped, with three rows of seating for up to eight passengers, 3-zone automatic climate control, leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, power front seats, push-button start, Mazda Connect infotainment system with a 12.3-inch display screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rearview camera, and Bluetooth hands-free connectivity. The exterior of the CX-90 is highlighted by 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, LED taillights, heated mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.
The Premium Sport trim features post-collision braking, a larger sunroof, 21-inch wheels, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, driver seat memory, satellite radio, and voice activated navigation.
The Premium Plus trim adds power folding mirrors, cooled front seats, heated rear seats, ambient lighting, a 12-speaker sound system, a garage door transmitter, 2 120V AC outlets, a head-up display, and a surround view camera.
Standard safety features across the trim lineup include active lane departure, blind spot warning, forward collision mitigation, rear collision warning, front pedestrian detection and a driver attention alert. All Premium trims also feature rear collision mitigation, front and rear parking sensors and a traffic sign information system.
