The all-wheel drive Dodge Hornet is offered in two trims GT and R/T each with their own engine. The GT trim is powered by a is powered by a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 268 horsepower mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The R/T trim is powered by a 1.3L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor that produces 288 horsepower and 32 miles of all-electric range mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Buyers will likely be surprised by the level of standard equipment that comes on the base GT.
