The BMW X2 offers just a single engine choice but with varying outputs: A 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine making 241 or 312 horsepower. The 7-speed automatic transmission, the only one available on the X2, cracks off shifts in the blink of an eye, sending power to all four wheels. The BMW X2 comes in two all-wheel drive trims xDrive28i and M35i. The xDrive28i comes equipped with 19-inch wheels, a leather wrapped steering wheel with controls for the cruise control and sound system, a rearview camera, automatic climate control, cruise control, LED headlights, Bluetooth, a 10.7-inch touchscreen, integrated navigation, and a 7-speaker sound system. The M35i adds paddle shifters, a sport suspension, painted calipers, black exterior accents, 20-inch wheels, and sport bucket seats. Standard safety features across the lineup include front and rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, forward and rear collision mitigation, and a front pedestrian detection system.
